The critical and specialty minerals box score for Tuesday was a rousing 114-51-155 as the TSX Venture Exchange added 13 points to 838. Scandium Canada Ltd. (SCD) traded busily today, adding one-quarter cent to 15 cents on 2.2 million shares. The company has been quiet since it wrapped up drilling at Crater Lake a week ago.
Francis MacDonald's Li-FT Power Ltd. (LIFT) rose one cent to $1.41 on 486,000 shares. The company has its first assays from this year's drilling at the Adina-Galinee lithium project in north-central Quebec. The company touts a 56-metre interval at depth that averaged 1.43 per cent lithium oxide in the Galinee zone, awarding it an extra splash of bold black ink. There were higher grades -- 1.72 per cent at Galinee and 2.61 per cent in the Main zone -- but they spanned just nine and four metres respectively. Mind you, a third hole also did well, with 1.64 per cent from Galinee, and it spanned 28 metres.
