(NFG) rose 29 cents to $6.14 on 241,000 shares on word of a bonanza-grade strike at K2 on its Queensway project in north-central Newfoundland. The hit returned nearly 198 grams of gold per tonne over two metres, but nearly all the gold sat within a 0.4-metre vein averaging just short of 1,000 grams per tonne, leaving the other 1.6 metres of rock grading just 0.05 gram per tonne.
