Most Canadian gold miners moved little today, but a few were energetic. SSR Mining Inc. (SSRM) lost 58 cents to $15.38 on 721,000 shares despite a three-week silence, while Argonaut Gold Inc. (AR) fell 1.5 cents to 38 cents on 13.41 million shares.
First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (FM) lost 54 cents to $14.77 on 5.9 million shares. Franco-Nevada fell $3.44 to $161.72 on 606,000 shares today.
