The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score for Wednesday was a bright 100-65-145 as the TSX Venture Exchange rose 21 points to 1,013. Glenn Kasner's RJK Explorations Ltd. (RJX) lost one-half cent to 2.5 cents on 120,000 shares. The company's search for sisters of the 800-carat Nipissing diamond is on hold -- and so it appears are plans for a television series documenting the hunt. Viewers will have to make do with reruns of the Curse of Oak Island, while RJK's shareholders remain cursed with their investment.

Yannis Tsitos and Rana Vig's Troy Minerals Inc. (TROY) fell 1.5 cents to 13 cents on 1.46 million shares Tuesday on word it has "successfully completed a key regulatory milestone." It has registered its Tsagaan Zalaa silica project with the government in Mongolia, which the company applauds as "the most critical step in the multistage process leading to the issuance of an operational mining licence."
