(NILI) lived up to its name, adding four cents to 52 cents on 2.45 million shares in silence -- at least since Friday, when the company applauded conditional approval for its planned joint venture with Evolution Mining Ltd. at Nevada North, a lithium project in northeastern Nevada. Li-FT Power Ltd. (LIFT), on the other hand, lost six cents to $4.71 on 81,000 shares on the quiet.
Grant Mourre's SPC Nickel Corp. (SPC) jumped three cents to 6.5 cents on 6.98 million shares Monday on word of high-grade surface sampling assays from its Muskox project in western Nunavut. The headline hit came from the Equinox target, where a grab sample assayed 18.15 per cent copper, 0.06 per cent nickel and -- hold your hats -- 114.44 grams of platinum group elements (PGE) and 13.8 grams of silver per tonne, a metals smorgasbord that works out to 70.6 per cent copper equivalent.
