The critical and specialty minerals stocks box score for Wednesday was a mediocre 87-91-132 as the TSX Venture Exchange dipped three points to 932. Critical minerals stocks received mixed messages from investors today. Standard Lithium Inc. (SLI) gained ground, adding 12 cents to $6.55 on 614,000 shares, and LithiumBank Resources Corp. (LBNK) did better, adding seven cents to 65 cents on 273,000 shares. Neither company had news today, nor did Lithium Americas Corp. (LAC), which fell 25 cents to $6.35 on 3.2 million shares.

Greg Ferron's PTX Metals Inc. (PTX), an erratic but occasionally brisk trader, closed unchanged at 10.5 cents on 400,000 shares today. Yes, the stock has been treading water near 10 cents since early spring, but trading perked up with the arrival of fall, with over seven million shares trading on one day in late September. The company began an end-of-the-year drill program two weeks ago, a 5,000-metre effort on the W2 copper, nickel and platinum group elements project in the Ring of Fire district of Northern Ontario.
