The critical and specialty minerals stocks box score on Friday was a positive 94-77-139 as the TSX Venture Exchange added 11 points to 1,055. Argentina Lithium & Energy Corp. (LIT) has offered nothing materially new in a month, but it hired Red Cloud Financial Services Inc. to provide marketing services at the end of March, and a week ago, it hired Shawn Perger's private company to provide investor relations services. Argentina Lithium has struggled to gain ground from its recent eight-cent perch, but it jumped 2.5 cents to 12 cents on 12.64 million shares today, trading like a caged hamster on its wheel trying to outrun a cat with its greatest volume in over four years.

Ron Little's Wolfden Resources Corp. (WLF) was unchanged at nine cents on 8,000 shares. The company has a maiden resource estimate for its Canoe Landing polymetallic volcanogenic massive sulphide deposit in the Bathurst area of New Brunswick. Not only does Wolfden throw a bevy of geological adjectives at the deposit in the hope of attracting notice, it also cheers that its "current potential precious metal value accounts for more than 50 per cent of the total in situ value."
