Aleem Fidai's Cullinan Metals Corp. (CMT) rose five cents to 35 cents on 6,000 shares. The company has acquired an option to earn a 100-per-cent interest in two new projects -- the 2,550-hectare Oculus rare earth project in central Labrador and the 975-hectare Burnt Pond volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) project in central Newfoundland. Cullinan must make staged payments of up to $675,000 and 5.25 million shares over a three-year period, and it must spend $700,000 on exploration over the same stretch.
