The critical and specialty minerals box score for Tuesday was a bleak 48-115-147 as the TSX Venture Exchange slid 20 points to 867. Yikes! Almonty Industries Inc. (AII), $33 in April, flopped $1.58 to $17.22 on 2.17 million shares today, just three days before its farewell to the TSX. At one point today, it was down $2.59. Almonty chose to delist from the TSX, and also in Australia, suggesting the listings were not worth the cost (but it will still have a U.S. listing). There is no word why Almonty, a tungsten producer in Korea and an explorer in Nevada, took a hit today.

Haydn Daxter's Power Metals Corp. (PWM) fell three cents to 59 cents on 255,000 shares. The company has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding -- a tentative maybe -- with Gautam Gunidah's APL Engineered Materials Inc., an Illinois-based private company with "decades of experience in cesium processing and chemical production." A focus of the partnership-in-waiting will be to develop a fully integrated North American cesium supply chain for chemical products as global supply continues to decline, Power Metals enthuses.
