Most precious metals miners moved higher. Aris Mining Corp. (ARIS) added 37 cents to $23.79 on 735,000 shares today, while Meridian Mining PLC (MNO) gained four cents to $1.92 on 1.51 million shares.Lundin Gold Inc. (LUG), on the other hand, fell $1.83 to $84.86 on 903,000 shares.
Keith Boyle and Melissa Render's -- but more so Eric Sprott's -- New Found Gold Corp. (NFG) lost four cents to $2.62 on 3.36 million shares. The effort will include 90,000 metres of drilling, along with surface exploration in key areas across the 220,000-hectare project. (That is a modest effort by the company's earlier standards.
