Further to its bulletin dated Oct. 23, 2023, the Toronto Stock Exchange reports that it is now reviewing the shares of Akumin Inc. with respect to meeting its requirements for continued listing under the remedial delisting review for 120 days. According to the TSX, the shares resumed trading at the open on Nov. 3, 2023.

The TSX notes that the company filed a Chapter 11 prepack case and it expects to emerge from Chapter 11 immediately after obtaining certain regulatory approvals. During the process, Akumin's operations are expected to continue as normal. The company expects to continue to pay trade creditors, employees and other partners in the ordinary course of business.
