AVANTI ENERGY INC. TO CHANGE NAME TO AVANTI HELIUM CORP.

The board of directors of Avanti Energy Inc. has approved a change of the company's name to Avanti Helium Corp. The name change better reflects Avanti's focus on the exploration, development and production of helium.

Shareholders of the company will not be required to exchange their existing share certificates for new certificates bearing Avanti's new name. The name change does not affect the company's share structure or the rights of the company's shareholders, and no further action is required by existing shareholders of Avanti.

The name change remains subject to the acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange.
