AVANT BRANDS STRENGTHENS BOARD WITH THE ADDITION OF TYSON MACDONALD

Avant Brands Inc. has appointed Tyson Macdonald to the company's board of directors, effective March 1, 2024.

Mr. Macdonald brings over 20 years of C-suite expertise in investment and transactions across diverse markets and sectors. As chief executive officer of Nova Net Lease REIT (real estate investment trust), Mr. Macdonald remains committed to actively investing in the United States cannabis market. As former chief financial officer of Cloud Cannabis, Mr. Macdonald helped grow the company into a leading vertically integrated operator in the Michigan market. As executive vice-president of corporate development at Acreage Holdings, Mr. Macdonald spearheaded strategic growth in the U.S. cannabis market, solidifying the company's prominence. His leadership culminated in the transformative $3.5-billion deal with Canopy Growth, showcasing Acreage Holdings' visionary edge.
