Brunswick drills 302 m of 1.73% Li2O at Anatacau Main

2026-11-04 10:21 ET - News Release

Mr. Killian Charles reports

BRUNSWICK EXPLORATION REPORTS 1.73% LI2O OVER 302 METERS INCLUDING 142 METERS AT 1.97% LI2O AT THE ANATACAU MAIN PROJECT

Brunswick Exploration Inc. has released the assays of the previously announced 302-metre interval (see press release dated Oct. 15, 2026) at its Anatacau Main project, located 20 kilometres east of Rio Tinto's Galaxy project, in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay region of Quebec.

Highlights include:

  • Results confirm the mineralization of the Anais dike observed in drill hole AN-26-17 with an intercept of 302.05 metres returning 1.73 per cent Li2O from 295.25 to 597.30 metres.
  • Higher-grade core of 142 metres grading 1.97 per cent Li2O from 426 to 568 metres.
  • Amongst the best lithium intercepts on a grade-metre basis drilled in the lithium industry since 2015.
  • The Anais dike remains open in all directions.

Killian Charles, president and chief executive officer of Brunswick, commented: "Since the start of September, we have entered a new, exciting chapter for Brunswick Exploration. Anatacau is proving to be something exceptional with a combination of grade and width that is rarely seen across the entire lithium sector. It vindicates our exploration methodology and our ability to uncover meaningful discoveries.

Importantly, it is only the start. We are eagerly awaiting to restart drilling and are currently preparing a major exploration campaign at Anatacau to fully demonstrate the potential of the project. More information on this campaign will be shared when available."

Discussion of results

Hole AN-26-17 intercepted 302.05 metres of nearly continuous pegmatite grading 1.73 per cent Li2O from 295.25 to 597.30 metres including a 142-metre subinterval grading 1.97 per cent Li2O from 426 to 568 metres. Located approximately 100 metres (80 to 160 metres) below hole AN-26-15, which returned 1.31 per cent Li2O over 202 metres, lithium mineralization is confined to medium to coarse grained spodumene within the pegmatite. The entire pegmatite interval is mineralogically simple and homogenous. It is composed of quartz, spodumene, K-feldspar, albite and a low concentration of accessory minerals such as tourmaline, muscovite, garnet, apatite and traces of pollucite. The high-grade portion of hole AN-26-17 is associated with occurrences of cleavelandite and weak potassic alteration alongside fresh and more abundant spodumene mineralization. The plunge of the dike appears to change from approximately 70 degrees at surface to 45 degrees at depth but the full geometry of the dike remains to be confirmed with further drilling.

The true thickness of the Anais dike is estimated at approximately 80 per cent of the 302-metre interval, and the interval contains approximately 3 per cent host-rock xenoliths highly altered by holmquistite. The hole ended in a LCT pegmatite and was stopped due to the drill rig's depth capacity.

Assays result from hole AN-26-14 and AN-26-16, drilled outside of the Anais dike, remain pending as well with the rest of hole AN-26-17 which intercepted several other pegmatites.

QA/QC (quality assurance/quality control)

All drill core samples were collected under the supervision of BRW employees and services contractor Explo-Logik, applying industry-standard QA/QC procedures to its drilling and prospecting programs. All sample preparation and analytical work were performed by Agat Laboratories. Samples were prepared with methods 200075 and 200087, and dissolved in a sodium peroxide solution, prior to multielement analysis by ICP-OES and ICP-MS according to the Agat method 201378. All results passed the QA/QC screening at the laboratory, and all inserted standard, duplicates and blanks returned results within acceptable limits.
