Mr. Leighton Carroll reports
BAYLIN TECHNOLOGIES RECEIVES REPEAT PURCHASE ORDER FROM A MAJOR US-BASED DEFENSE CONTRACT MANUFACTURER
Baylin Technologies Inc.'s Advantech Wireless Technologies subsidiary has received a $1-million purchase order for its transceivers from a major United States-based manufacturer of battlefield terminals.
Advantech designs, manufactures and integrates fly-away transceivers, including BUCs, LNBs, housings and feeds, with a variety of power levels and frequency bands that address X, Ku and Ka band applications. Advantech's fly-away transceivers address rapid deployments in military communications, resilient beyond line-of-sight connectivity and multiband interoperability.
This repeat purchase order validates Advantech's technology performance and its ability to meet U.S. defence and battlefield requirements. The company expects further growth in its defence supporting technology solutions driven by demand in several key markets.
"Seeing a repeat order for Advantech's technology from a major U.S. defence contractor speaks volumes to the quality and reliability of our products," said Leighton Carroll, chief executive officer of Baylin Technologies. "Defence-related technologies are a key pillar of our strategy for growth and consistency for Advantech."
