PIMCO Canadian Core Bond to trade on TSX Aug. 19

The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that PIMCO Canadian Core Bond Fund will be listed at 5:01 p.m. on Aug. 16, 2024, for trading at the open on Aug. 19, 2024. According to the TSX, there will be 50,000 units of the exchange-traded fund issued and outstanding, with no securities reserved for issuance. The units will trade under the symbol CORE, in Canadian dollars and with Cusip No. 72203Q 10 6.

The TSX reports that the ETF seeks to achieve maximum total return, consistent with preservation of capital and prudent investment management. It invests primarily in a diversified portfolio of Canadian-dollar fixed-income instruments of varying maturities. The ETF distributes any net income quarterly and net realized capital gains annually.

According to the TSX, the ETF's manager is PIMCO Canada Corp., its trustee is State Street Trust Company Canada, and its transfer agent and registrar is State Street Trust Company Canada at its principal office in Toronto. The ETF's fiscal year-end is Dec. 31.

As stated in its amended and restated simplified prospectus dated July 29, 2024, amending and restating the simplified prospectus dated June 24, 2024, the ETF is issuing 50,000 units at $20 per unit in its initial public offering. It expects to close the offering on Aug. 16, 2024. The designated market-maker is National Bank Financial Inc.
