DYE & DURHAM ANNOUNCES OSC RELIEF IN SUBSTANTIAL ISSUER BID

Dye & Durham Ltd. has been granted an exemptive relief order by the Ontario Securities Commission in connection with the company's substantial issuer bid, permitting Dye & Durham to extend the offer, if it determines to do so, without first taking up any 3.75 per cent convertible senior unsecured debentures due March 1, 2026, previously deposited.

The company does not anticipate extending the offer, and the expiration of the offer remains 5 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Aug. 30, 2023. In the event the offer is extended, the company will provide a further news release announcing such extension.
