DYNACOR REPORTS SALES OF US$19.1 MILLION (C$25.8 MILLION) FOR APRIL 2023
Dynacor Group Inc. had recorded unaudited gold sales of $19.1-million (U.S.) ($25.8-million (Canadian)) for April, 2023, compared with $17.6-million (U.S.) ($22.2-million (Canadian)) in April, 2022, an increase of $1.5-million (U.S.), or 8.5 per cent, over last year.
Sales increase versus April of last year is due to increase sales volume (plus 4.0 per cent) and increase sales price (plus 4.5 per cent).
In April, the average selling price of gold was $1,998 (U.S.) per ounce, compared with $1,915 (U.S.) per ounce in April, 2022.
The 2023 cumulative sales at the end of April amounted to $75.8-million (U.S.), compared with $67.7-million (U.S.) for the same period of 2022, a 12-per-cent increase. The average selling price of gold at the end of April, 2023, was $1,904 (U.S.) per ounce (oz), compared with $1,889 (U.S.) per oz in 2022.
During April, 2023, the Veta Dorada plant processed 12,897 tonnes (cumulative year to date of 54,463 tonnes).
For 2023, the corporation forecasted sales in the range of $210-million (U.S.) to $235-million (U.S.) based on an average gold price between $1,800 (U.S.) and $1,900 (U.S.) per ounce.
