ENERGY INCOME FUND APPOINTS ARTEMIS INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT LIMITED AS NEW INVESTMENT MANAGER

Energy Income Fund's new investment manager, effective June 20, 2024, is Artemis Investment Management Ltd. This update follows the recent filing of the new investment management agreement with SEDAR+.

This strategic change, involving the replacement of the previous investment fund manager, Vestcap Investment Management Inc., is in pursuit of the fund's revised investment strategies and objectives. The agreement with Vestcap, effective since Aug. 22, 2013, will consequently be concluded. The transition details have been communicated to the fund's custodian, RBC Investor Services Trust, ensuring a seamless changeover.

Additionally, Artemis is pleased to announce the engagement of ARS Investment Partners LLC, a Delaware-based firm, as a subadviser to assist in investment management and portfolio advisory services, effective June 20, 2024. Artemis will cover all subadvisory fees associated with this arrangement.
