Evovest Global Equity to trade on TSX March 28

The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that Evovest Global Equity ETF will be listed at 5:01 p.m. on March 27, 2024, for trading at the open on March 28, 2024. According to the TSX, there will be 50,000 units of the exchange-traded fund (ETF) issued and outstanding, with no securities reserved for issuance. The units will trade under the symbol EVO, in Canadian dollars and with Cusip No. 30053W 10 2.

The TSX reports that the ETF seeks to provide long-term capital growth by investing, directly or indirectly, in securities of other investment funds, in a diverse portfolio comprising primarily common shares of companies located around the world. According to the TSX, the ETF expects to pay cash distributions on its units at the end of each year. Its manager, National Bank Investments Inc., may at its discretion, change the frequency of cash distributions and will issue a news release if such a change is made. It may also make additional distributions in any year if determined to be appropriate.

As stated in its prospectus dated Feb. 27, 2024, the ETF is issuing 50,000 units at $20 per unit in its initial public offering. It expects to close the offering before the open on March 28, 2024. The ETF's transfer agent and registrar is TSX Trust Company at its principal office in Toronto, and its trustee is Natcan Trust Company. The ETF's fiscal year-end is Dec. 31, and the designated market-maker is National Bank Financial Inc.
