EXCELLON ANNOUNCES NEW ANNUAL AND SPECIAL MEETING DATE

Excellon Resources Inc. has rescheduled its annual and special meeting of shareholders from Nov. 7, 2023, to Nov. 23, 2023. The meeting will be held virtually at 2 p.m. Toronto time. The record date for the meeting continues to be Sept. 25, 2023.

At the meeting, shareholders will vote on the proposed restructuring of the company's 5.75 per cent secured convertible debentures announced on Sept. 21, 2023, among other business of the company. Meeting materials will follow in due course.

Pursuant to the rules of the Toronto Stock Exchange, the company was required to hold its annual meeting of shareholders on or before June 30, 2023. As announced on July 20, 2023, and Aug. 30, 2023, the Toronto Stock Exchange granted the company extensions to the deadline for holding its annual meeting of shareholders. The Toronto Stock Exchange has granted the company a further extension to accommodate an updated meeting date.
