The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Oct. 16, edition that National Bank Financial analyst Maxim Sytchev calls GFL Environmental one of his "top ideas." The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Sytchev has reaffirmed his "outperform" recommendation and $81 share target for GFL Environmental. Analysts on average target the shares at $76.58. Mr. Sytchev says in a note: "Our de facto non-AI trade; a takeout would be nice, but if that fails, we are back to the compounding algorithm and with SECURE in the fold investors should be excited about incremental growth." The Globe reported on Jan. 23 and May 1 that Mr. Sytchev continued to GFL Envirnomental "outperform." The shares could then be had for $60.88 and $52.36. The Globe reported on July 7 that Citi analyst Bryan Burgmeier said GFL Environmental "appears oversold." He gave GFL a "buy" rating. The shares could then be had for $58.83.
