HTC ANNOUNCES OFFICER APPOINTMENTS

Wayne Bernakevitch has accepted the appointment as HTC Purenergy Inc.'s chairman to the board of directors and Jeffrey Allison has accepted the appointment of chief executive officer.

Mr. Bernakevitch formerly served as senior partner with the law firm of McDougall Gauley LLP, the largest law firm in Saskatchewan. With over 30 years of experience, he specialized in corporate, commercial and business law. Mr. Bernakevitch is the past president of the Regina and District Chamber of Commerce and remains actively involved with the chamber. He sits on numerous local and national boards and is a member of the Law Society of Saskatchewan.

Mr. Allison has been a senior executive of HTC since 2004. He has over 25 years of experience in corporate finance and business development, project planning and financial management.

Currently, the board comprises Mr. Allison as president, chief executive officer and secretary, Mr. Bernakevitch as chairman, Garth Fredrickson (independent director), and Lionel Kambeitz. Jacelyn Case acts as chief financial officer.
