The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday edition that Barclays analyst Raimo Lenschow has reaffirmed his "overweight" call for Lightspeed Commerce. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Lenschow lowered his share target by $8 (U.S.) to $42 (U.S.). Analysts on average target the shares at $55 (U.S.). Mr. Lenschow says in a note: "We believe Q1 will be a difficult quarter to call for many names. True, valuation levels are down, but we still have FX headwinds, macro headwinds (see moderating VAR survey results) and tougher comps ahead. We have confidence in Qualtrics International and Datadog going into earnings while we're more muted on well tested names like Microsoft." The Globe reported on Jan. 8 that RBC Capital analyst Daniel Perrin had reaffirmed his "outperform" call for Lightspeed when it was worth $46.03 (Canadian). The Globe reported on Feb. 1 that ATB Capital Markets analyst Martin Toner continued to rate Lightspeed "outperform." The shares could then be had for $43.95 (Canadian). The Globe reported on Feb. 5 that National Bank Financial analyst Richard Tse had reaffirmed his "outperform" recommendation for Lightspeed when it could be had for $40.17 (Canadian).
