MODERN PLANT BASED FOODS ANNOUNCES NON-BROKERED PRIVATE PLACEMENT FOR $230,000

Modern Plant Based Foods Inc. will be arranging a non-brokered private placement offering of up to 3,066,665 units at a price of 7.5 cents per unit for gross proceeds of up to $230,000.

Each unit will consist of one common share and one transferable common purchase warrant. Each full warrant will be exercisable into one common share of the company at a price of 10 cents per warrant having an expiry of 24 months from the date of issuance.

The proceeds raised from this offering will be used by the company for general working capital purposes, further acquisitions and development of the company. Finders' fees may be paid, as permitted under Canadian Securities Exchange policies and applicable securities laws.
