The Globe and Mail reports in its Tuesday edition that the woman testified Monday about her encounter with Magna International founder Frank Stronach decades ago, recalling the moment her pantyhose ripped. A Canadian Press dispatch to The Globe reports that she described being pinned on a cot in his waterfront condo, engaged in a "tug of war" as he tried to push her knee-length dress up. Mr. Stronach yanked the crotch of her pantyhose several times until only the waistband remained. The woman realized she was overpowered and felt trapped. She was paralyzed and sobbing quietly. She heard Mr. Stronach unzip his pants and remembers him grunting and thrusting as he penetrated her, she testified. When she went to the bathroom to clean herself up afterward, she realized he had ejaculated inside her, she said. The woman, now in her late 60s, is the seventh and final complainant to testify at Mr. Stronach's sexual assault trial. Mr. Stronach, 93, has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges related to alleged incidents spanning decades. In June, 2024, the woman learned of Mr. Stronach's arrest. She said she did not give a police statement until August, after more complainants came forward and additional charges were laid.
