The Globe and Mail reports in its Thursday, Aug. 14, edition that TD Cowen analyst Brian Morrison, in a note titled Outside valuation, all looks good under the hood, bumped his Street-high share target for Martinrea International to $14 from $13, while maintaining his "buy" recommendation. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that analysts on average target the shares at $8.76. Mr. Morrison says in a note: "Martinrea delivered strong Q2/25 results with adjusted EBITDA/EPS ahead of our forecast/consensus. Martinrea is illustrating its investment in lean efficiencies/innovation is yielding margin benefits, its disciplined approach to capital allocation is establishing a track record of positive FCF, and by maintaining 2025 guidance (likely at the mid-to-high end) that its valuation is punitive." The Globe reported on Jan. 24, 2023, Jan. 10, 2025, and May 2, 2025, that Raymond James continued to rate Martinrea International "outperform." It was then worth $12.06, $8.39 and $7.74. The Globe reported on March 6, 2025, that CIBC World Markets analyst Krista Friesen rated Martinrea International "neutral." It was then worth $7.95.
