The Globe and Mail reports in its Tuesday, April 29, edition that CIBC Capital Markets analyst Hamir Patel continues to rate Chemtrade Logistics Income Fund "outperformer." The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Patel lowered his unit target to $10.50 from $13. Analysts on average target the units at $14.25. Mr. Patel says in a note: "Heading into Q1 earnings season, we are making only modest estimate revisions for the four names under coverage (Chemtrade, Methanex, Mosaic and Nutrien). Our preferred name in the group is Nutrien. We also rate Methanex 'outperformer.' We remain 'neutral' on Mosaic given more conservative phosphate pricing assumptions than the Street. We also remain on the sidelines on Chemtrade." The Globe reported on Feb. 26 that Scotia Capital analyst Ben Isaacson was sticking with his "sector outperform" recommendation for Nutrien. It was then worth $76.30. The Globe reported on March 4 that National Bank Financial analyst Zachary Evershed continued to rate Chemtrade "outperform." The units were then worth $10. The Globe reported on April 4 that Mr. Patel was keeping his "outperformer" ranking for Methanex intact. The shares could then be had for $40.88.
