OLYMPIA FINANCIAL GROUP INC. ANNOUNCES SECOND QUARTER 2026 RESULTS

Olympia Financial Group Inc. has released its operating and financial results for the period ended June 30, 2026.

Results from operations for the six months ended June 30, 2026, include the following (compared with operations for the six months ended June 30, 2025):

• Total net earnings and comprehensive income from continuing operations decreased 37 per cent to $7.06-million from $11.25-million.
• Total revenue decreased 10 per cent to $43.49-million from $48.07-million.
• Service revenue increased 4 per cent to $23.26-million from $22.36-million mainly due to an increase in monthly and transaction fees.
• Trust, interest and other income decreased 21 per cent to $20.22-million from $25.71-million mainly due to a decrease in interest rates on funds held in trust.
• Total expenses increased 1 per cent to $33.71-million from $33.24 million.
• Earnings before income tax decreased 35 per cent to $9.7-million from $14.82-million.
• Basic and diluted earnings per share attributable to the shareholders of Olympia decreased 37 per cent to $2.93 per share from $4.67 per share.
