The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Sept. 22, edition that Stifel analyst Michael Dunn has reaffirmed his "buy" recommendation for PrairieSky Royalty. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Dunn edged his share target ahead by 25 cents to $27.25. Analysts on average target the shares at $26.20. Mr. Dunn modestly tweaked his share target ahead following U.S. investor meetings with the company's management. Mr. Dunn says in a note: "Key points of discussion included aspects of PrairieSky's business that are different from most other oil and gas royaltcos (unleased lands, dominant ownership of Western Canada fee lands, strong balance sheet), its exposure to growth in the Clearwater and Mannville stack, shareholder returns, and management alignment. Our 2024e estimates for oil production/AFFO are up 1.6 per cent/1.1 per cent." The Globe reported on April 19 that iA Capital analyst Matthew Weekes had reaffirmed his "buy" recommendation for PrairieSky. The shares were then going for $21.04. The Globe reported on July 19 that RBC Capital Markets analyst Luke Davis was keeping his "sector perform" call on PrairieSky Royalty intact. It was then worth $26.37.
