RUBICON ORGANICS GRANTS DSUS AND OPTIONS

Rubicon Organics Inc. has granted 420,000 deferred share units and 15,000 stock options.

DSU grant

The company has granted an aggregate of 420,000 DSUs pursuant to the DSU plan to independent directors of the company as compensation for their services in 2023. The DSUs vest immediately and may only be redeemed upon a holder ceasing to be a director of Rubicon.

Option grant

The company has granted stock options for a total of 15,000 common shares to an employee of the company pursuant to the equity incentive plan. The stock options are exercisable at 50 cents per share for a period of five years from the date of grant.
