SAGICOR FINANCIAL ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF ERIC SANDBERG AS PRESIDENT OF SAGICOR LIFE USA

Eric Sandberg has been appointed as president of Sagicor Financial Company Ltd.'s Sagicor Life Insurance Company. Mr. Sandberg will work closely with Sagicor Life USA's leadership team to maintain alignment on strategic priorities and support disciplined execution as the business scales.

Mr. Sandberg brings leadership experience across risk, actuarial, pricing, asset liability management and finance, along with annuities expertise and a commercial mindset. Most recently, he served as chief financial officer and chief risk officer at National Life Group, a leading life insurance and annuity provider operating in 49 states with over $65-billion (1) of total assets, where he led financial oversight and enterprise risk management. He has also worked closely with rating agencies and regulators, and has experience supporting product innovation.
