The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, Feb. 26, edition that Citi analyst Ariel Rosa has reaffirmed his "buy" recommendation for TFI International. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Rosa slashed his share target by $32 to $130. Analysts on average target the shares at $136.52. Mr. Rosa says in a note: "Management refrained from providing a full-year EPS guide and cautioned about the pace of the macro recovery. The company continued to say it believes it can achieve EPS in the range of $8 in a more normalized operating environment, but acknowledged it does not expect to get there anytime soon given the macro headwinds and idiosyncratic challenges. TFI expects earnings improvement through the year, with results 2H weighted, as shippers gains better visibility on the regulatory environment." The Globe reported on Oct. 24 that Mr. Rosa had reaffirmed his "buy" recommendation for TFI International. The shares could then be had for $182.52. The Globe reported on Feb. 21 that National Bank Financial analyst Cameron Doerksen had reaffirmed his "sector perform" recommendation for TFI International. The shares were then going for $134.80.
