VIQ SOLUTIONS ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT OF DIRECTOR AND CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Susan Sumner has retired as chief operating officer and president of VIQ Solutions Inc. Ms. Sumner will continue as a part-time adviser to the company until Jan. 31, 2025. In connection with her retirement, Ms. Sumner has informed the company that she will resign from her director position on the board of directors of the company as of Jan. 31, 2025.

Ms. Sumner has served as COO of VIQ since July, 2018, and president of VIQ since February, 2021, and has been a member of the board since April, 2022.

Sebastien Pare, chief executive officer and director of VIQ, stated: "It has been an honour and a privilege to have worked with Susan over the last number of years. Over the years, Susan has offered a lot of time, effort and encouragement while performing her roles at the company, and has been part of moving VIQ forward throughout her time with us.
