CESPIRA APPOINTS CARLOS GONZALEZ AS PRESIDENT AND CEO

Cespira, Westport Fuel Systems Inc.'s high-pressure direct injection (HPDI) joint venture with Volvo Group, has appointed Carlos Gonzalez as president and chief executive officer, effective April 1, 2025. Mr. Gonzalez succeeds Dan Sceli, chief executive officer of Westport, who held the position on an interim basis since the closing of the joint venture transaction in June, 2024, and will continue to sit on Cespira's board.

Mr. Gonzalez brings more than 24 years of experience in the automotive and commercial vehicle industry across Europe, including the past 12 years as a leader at ZF Group, a global technology leader in advanced mobility solutions, where he last served as vice-president and global key account executive for the Traton Group. His career includes significant tenures at General Dynamics ELS, Continental AG and Lear Corp.

Mr. Gonzalez holds engineering degrees from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (Tarragona, Spain) and the Universidad Europea de Madrid (Madrid, Spain) and executive training from Duke University (MBA), Insead Business School (HILP) and IESE Business School (PADE).
